Online School

HOW IT WORKS

Lessons can be accessed anywhere where there is an internet connection providing you with unmatched flexibility. Experienced teachers lead real-time, live online, timetabled lessons where pupil interaction is encouraged and monitored and our staff are on hand to answer any questions you or your child may have. Pupils studying our full curriculum study no more than three subjects a day to consolidate learning, this approach allows our pupils to progress rapidly freeing them up to pursue other interests in games, sports and other talents with more energy.

HOMESCHOOLING ONLINE

Due to our online status, our teachers can focus on teaching for the entire lesson time, without interruption, disruption or bad behaviour, which can be experienced in a more mainstream traditional classroom setting. All lessons are recorded and stored in our online archive which students can access 24/7. This is an excellent resource and makes it easy for home learning students to catch up following time off. It can also be used to prepare for future lessons and for KCSE, IGCSE, AS and A Level exams.
Each pupil has a personal control panel from which they can access homeschooling resources and all the features you would expect at a physical school such as a library, common room, clubs and societies etc. Parents don’t have to wait for a parents evening to contact us, can keep an eye on their child’s progress and are able to contact us to enquire about their child’s progress.

A SCHOOL WITH A VISION

Our vision is for each pupil to graduate as an avid and thriving young learner. They will actively seek learning opportunity in all aspects of their lives and will carry the requisite foundation knowledge and skills to excel in the learning challenges ahead. Great schools recognise that learning is lifelong, we therefore reject myopic, self-serving pedagogies that focus exclusively on maximising short term academic grades. Instead the priority is both current learning but the equipping of each pupil to thrive in the long run.

A SOPHISTICATED CLOUD BASED LEARNING PLATFORM WITH FULLY INTERACTIVE CLASSROOMS

During the lesson, pupils communicate with the teacher and each other through a wide variety of medium. Voice, text, whiteboard, notes, recordings, presentations, screen sharing and co-web browsing. The student can be asked to work through specific examples, share their work or lead the lesson. By giving the student the opportunity to directly and privately message the teacher it means that no question is ever left unspoken or unanswered.

A CLOUD-BASED SCHOOL WHERE LEARNERS ACCESS ALL THEIR RESOURCES AND LESSON RECORDINGS ALL DAY, EVERY DAY

Each course provides access to the entire subject curriculum; this is available to access at anytime from anywhere. All lessons are digitally recorded and once a lesson has been delivered, pupils can review the lesson recording. Subject materials can help pupils track down exactly what they need. It is a fantastic resource to support pupils to consolidate their learning, master tricky concepts and prepare for examinations.

ENROLMENT PROCESS

The enrollment process takes 5-7 days.

Complete a registration form for your child. Click here for the form.

Please ensure you fill in each field when completing the registration form.

The registration form is processed by the Admissions team. This takes place in one day.

Once the registration form has been processed by the Admissions team, the parent will receive an email with instructions on how to set up and use their parent portal.

Parents will then need to upload the various enrollment documents through their parent portal, e.g. a copy of the student’s passport/birth certificate, proof of address etc.

Parents will be able to view the student book list through their parent portal under the ‘Documents’ tab.

When all the requirements have been received by the Admission team, they will send an email with information on how the student can log into their Student Hub page in order to view the ‘Induction Video Guides’.

The induction will demonstrate to the new student how the school works and how to use all the facilities.

Once all the induction video guides have been viewed a notification email will be sent to the Admissions team.

The Admissions team will build the student’s timetable and send a ‘Post Induction’ email to inform the parent of their child’s exact start date. This part of the process usually takes between 2-3 working days.
